The announcement was made during a meeting dedicated to security issues in Europe within the framework of NATO cooperation and the Weimar Triangle countries.
Three key issues were agreed upon in the French capital. Besides the decision regarding next year's military exercises, details concerning the expansion of military mobility activities among the Weimar Triangle members were settled during the meeting between the Minister of Defense and his counterparts Boris Pistorius and Sébastien Lecornu.
Considerable attention was also given to supporting Ukraine. Kosiniak-Kamysz emphasized that Poland has long supported Ukraine's aspirations to join the European Union and NATO.
"We will support it through the provision of equipment [...] We believe in a greater role for NATO and expect a greater role for NATO in the process of coordinating and co-financing support efforts for Ukraine," he noted.
