With the presidential elections in the United States approaching rapidly, there are only four weeks left until the voting on November 5. In this heated pre-election period, every vote is crucial, prompting candidates to seek support from various social groups.

Trump celebrated Pulaski's legacy

Representative of the Republicans, Donald Trump reached out to Polish-Americans on X.com in connection with Casimir Pulaski Day. Although this holiday is officially observed on October 11, Pulaski Day parades took place this past weekend in New York.

Trump emphasized that Kazimierz Pułaski was a wonderful, brave, and strong man whose life should be celebrated by all. He also expressed his appreciation for the Polish community, wishing them a successful Pulaski Day and parade, while highlighting his love for Poland and its people.

Casimir Pulaski was a Polish nobleman and military commander who played a crucial role in the American Revolutionary War, earning the title "Father of the American Cavalry."

His contributions to the fight for American independence are commemorated in the United States with Pulaski Day parades, which celebrate Polish heritage and honor his legacy.

These parades typically take place in early October, particularly in cities with significant Polish-American populations, such as Chicago and New York City.

Trump seeks support from Polish-Americans as election day approaches

However, Trump's efforts to win over Polish voters don't stop there. The presidential candidate met with Polish presenter Michał Rachoń from the far-right station TV Republika at Trump Tower in New York.

During their 15-minute conversation for the only European TV station, Trump criticized his opponent Kamala Harris, calling her a "Marxist," praised Polish President Andrzej Duda, whom he referred to as his friend, and expressed hope that Poles would vote for him. He also promised to cut energy prices in half over the next 12 months.

Donald Trump also stated that no American president has done more for Poles than he has.
