Andrzej Duda believes that whether Americans choose a Democratic representative or a Republican leader, each of the new leaders should have good relations with Poland.

When it was noted that Donald Trump, not Kamala Harris, calls himself a "friend" of Duda, the Polish president replied that he had a "very good" and "very friendly" meeting with Harris in Warsaw in 2022.

"I can't say a bad word about her, and I believe we can build very good relations," Duda stated, emphasizing that the American presidential race is "very competitive."

Duda also mentioned that if Trump wins, the government will play a crucial role in organizing the EU-U.S. and EU-Ukraine summits during Poland's presidency.

He stressed that as the head of state, he will participate in these events, but the responsibility for leading the presidency lies with the government.

The politician also expressed hope that Prime Minister Donald Tusk would fulfill his proposals and announced that regardless of who becomes the U.S. president, he would like to invite that person to Poland.
