Polish FM sends Christmas greetings to Poles worldwide

Poland’s Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski has sent holiday greetings to all Poles at home and abroad.

The Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs has extended Christmas greetings to Poles worldwide.

"On the occasion of Christmas, I would like to extend my warmest wishes for health, peace and joy," Sikorski said in a social media message shared on Christmas Eve.

"May this time be an opportunity to spend pleasant moments with your loved ones," he added.

"I wish you prosperity and the fulfillment of your dreams in the upcoming New Year, and a Merry Christmas," Sikorski also said in his message on Tuesday.

Next year will be special for Poland as it prepares to begin its six-month presidency of the Council of the European Union on January 1.
