Poland’s biggest video game developer CD Projekt Red, which developed the wildly popular game series, is next year set to follow up with a new title called Cyberpunk 2077, the Dziennik Gazeta Prawna daily reported.

The new game, which features Hollywood superstar Keanu Reeves, will be released on April 16, 2020, and is widely expected to become a global hit, the paper added.

Polish video games have become a showpiece of the country’s entertainment industry, with 2020 expected to bring an unprecedented peak in sales.

The international profile of Polish games is also likely to be boosted by the premiere of Dying Light 2, a survival horror game by Polish game studio Techland.

On Tuesday, a Netflix TV series based on “The Witcher” book franchise premiered in London.
