Last year, 81 percent of taxpayers filed online, while 14 percent visited a tax office in person, according to professional services firm KPMG.
Meanwhile, 5 percent sent their tax returns by post in traditional paper form.
This year, 83 percent of Poles are expected to file online, an increase of 2 percentage points from 2021, according to a study by KPMG.
Polish taxpayers have until midnight on Monday to submit their personal income tax returns for 2021.
By the end of last week, more than 6 million people had filed online using pre-filled income tax return forms, according to the Polish finance ministry.
