The country’s exports from the beginning of January to the end of February totaled EUR 49.5 billion, while imports were worth EUR 52.6 billion, the state-run statistics agency said.
It added that Poland’s largest export markets during this period were Germany, France and the Czech Republic, while Germany, China and Russia were the country’s largest import markets.
Poland ended last year with a foreign trade deficit of EUR 600 million, according to the Central Statistical Office.
Poland’s exports totaled EUR 285.8 billion in 2021 as a whole, while imports were worth EUR 286.4 billion.
