The companies, including Zaha Hadid, Foster + Partners, Kohn Pedersen Fox, Vidal y Asociados Estudio de Arquitectura, Dar Al-Handasah, as well as Perkins and Will are currently discussing details of a possible cooperation with Polish authorities.

Poland aims to choose the master architect for the planned air hub by the end of the year.

The new Polish air hub will be located in the municipality of Baranów, 40 km west of the capital Warsaw, and will integrate air, rail and road transport, according to officials.

The mega-airport, with an initial capacity of 45 million passengers a year, is expected to be built by 2027.
