The event is being held under the auspices of President Andrzej Duda, Polish state news agency PAP reported.
PAIH said the forum was set to bring together more than 3,500 entrepreneurs and business leaders.
The aim of the conference “is to show Polish companies, especially small and mid-sized firms, what opportunities exist for them to export their products and invest in foreign markets,” the agency added.
Awards for officials
Ahead of the Business Forum, the Polish president on Tuesday decorated long-serving PAIH officials at Warsaw's Belweder Palace.
During the ceremony, Duda said that “every Polish company that opens its offices abroad or whose products enter foreign markets thanks to PAIH’s assistance, is a success.”
The president told the agency’s staff: “Every entrepreneur from abroad who comes to Poland, exports their products here, and above all creates new jobs, thanks to your support, is a treasure and a victory for us.”
Duda urged PAIH officials to redouble their efforts to "implement Poland's interests” in the face of “the energy and economic crisis caused by Russia’s war," the PAP news agency reported.
'It is my ambition for Poland to join G20': president
Duda also said: "It is my ambition for Poland to join the G20.”
He added he hoped Poland would join the group of the world’s largest economies during his tenure as president, “although the situation has become more complex."
Wednesday is day 224 of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
