Poland in effort to boost military capability: audio report

The Polish government is strengthening military ties with allies, while at the same time stepping up domestic arms production in a bid to boost the potential of the Polish army, according to officials.

Defence Minister Mariusz Błaszczak this week announced a plan to buy new infantry fighting vehicles for the Polish army as part of efforts to bolster national defence capabilities in the wake of Russia's invasion of neighbouring Ukraine.
