Around 188,800 housing units were completed nationwide between the start of January and the end of October, the state-run Statistics Poland (GUS) agency said on Wednesday.
It added that the number of housing starts from January to October, at around 178,300 in total, was 25.3 percent lower than in the same period last year.
Meanwhile, overall output in Poland’s construction-and-assembly sector increased by 3.9 percent in October in year-on-year terms, while rising 4 percent month on month, Statistics Poland also reported.
Around 235,000 new homes were built in Poland last year, 6.3 percent more than in 2020, according to the statistical office.
