He made the statement during a Polish-South Korean business forum in the southern Polish mountain resort of Krynica on Thursday.
The event was part of the three-day 2023 Krynica Forum policy conference, which began on Wednesday, Polish state news agency PAP reported.
In his address, the Polish president saidd that bilateral trade between his country and South Korea reached USD 10 billion in 2022, "the highest-ever figure."
Duda described South Korea as a "leading Asian investor in Poland."
He added: “Currently, more than 550 South Korean companies are active on the Polish market, including the biggest corporations, such as LG and Samsung.”
The Polish president said: “We are pleased that a country with which we are on friendly terms is increasingly investing in Poland, in a market that is already familiar.”
He added that Poland and South Korea “share a commitment to values and principles” and that "Poland regards South Korea as a like-minded, stable and credible partner.”
Duda told the gathering that the Polish-Korean Forum was taking place not far from Poland's border with war-torn Ukraine.
The Polish president stated: “Russia’s aggression against Ukraine, our neighbouring country, could have raised concerns about Poland’s attractiveness as a destination for foreign investment. But I would like to reassure our South Korean partners that the stable foundations of the Polish economy, as well as our membership of key international organisations and defence alliances, ensure a secure environment that is conducive to economic growth.”

Meanwhile, South Korea’s Prime Minister Han Duck–soo told the Polish-Korean Forum that “Poland is an important partner country for South Korea.”
Han Duck-soo added: “We are working closely together.”
He mentioned “unprecedented” defence cooperation and “well-developing bilateral trade,” among other ties, the PAP news agency reported.
The South Korean prime minister stated: “Our cooperation will be the catalyst for an enormous change that will move both our continents."
Russia invaded Ukraine on February 24, 2022, launching the largest military campaign in Europe since World War II.
Thursday is day 568 of Russia’s war on Ukraine.
