UAE-based Lulu Group picks Poland to open its first logistics center in the CEE region: audio report

Lulu Group, the multinational retail giant headquartered in the United Arab Emirates's Abu Dhabi, has officially announced its latest venture during a press conference in Warsaw- an investment into  a logistics center in Poland.

The announcement followed the ceremony of signing the memorandum of understanding between the chairman of the Lulu Group International,  Yusuff Ali and the president of the Polish Trade and Investment Agency (PAIH), Paweł Kurtasz. 

Founded in 2000 by Yusuff Ali, Lulu Group operates in 23 countries in the Middle East, Africa, Asia, the United States and Europe. It has over 250  stores and 25 shopping centers in 9 countries . The core of its business is retail and the logistics center in Poland will be the company's first in the CEE region. The cooperation was supported by the Polish Investment and Trade Agency. "Poland is a great country with a lot of natural resources so we decided to source from this country," Yusuff Ali told Radio Poland’s Danuta Isler following the signing of the MoU in Warsaw.
