Łucznik, which is based in the central Polish city of Radom, said on Friday it recently manufactured its 100,000th Grot (Spearhead) rifle for the Polish army.
Polish troops have been using the weapon since 2017, state news agency PAP reported.
Grot rifles have also been battle-tested in Ukraine, after the Polish government supplied them to help Kyiv fight the Russian invasion, officials told reporters.
Last year, Łucznik delivered Grot rifles to the US Department of Defense and "one of the countries in East Africa," they said.
“Łucznik has been supplying firearms to the Polish army for almost 100 years,” said CEO Wojciech Arndt. “Our products are tailored to meet the needs of the Polish army, as exemplified by the Grot rifles.”
The Grot assault rifles are made up of easily replaceable modules, including the barrel, the receiver with the trigger mechanism, and the rifle butt, making them “easily adjustable to the needs of individual customers,” the company said.
The rifles “meet the highest standards” and are showcased alongside the world’s best weapons at international arms fairs, Łucznik added.
