Around 180,900 housing units were completed nationwide between the start of January and the end of October, the office said.
It added that the number of housing starts during this time, at around 158,600 in total, was 11.1 percent lower than in the same period last year.
Meanwhile, overall output in Poland’s construction-and-assembly sector increased by 9.8 percent in October in year-on-year terms, while rising 2.5 percent month on month, the state-run statistics agency also reported.
Builders completed around 238,600 new homes in Poland last year, 1.7 percent more than in 2021, Statistics Poland estimated earlier this year.
