Andrzej Duda extended the invitation at the 2024 World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.

In a speech during Tuesday's debate on foreign direct investment in CEE, Poland's head of state said that entering the region "can be a great opportunity for companies looking to expand and grow."

Duda added that nations of the "Three Seas region," located between the Baltic, Adriatic and Black seas, "are natural partners for multinational corporations due to their untapped investment potential and business–friendly environment."

He also noted that the CEE was "one of the fastest growing regions in the world with forecasted GDP growth of 35% by 2030."

The Polish president emphasised that due to membership of the European Union and NATO, countries of the region offered investors "stability, security," as well as "protection against corruption."

He said that despite the war in Ukraine, Poland and other CEE nations remained a "safe haven for global investors offering resilient and stable economic environment."

Duda encouraged "all international investors" to explore the "opportunities offered by the Central European market," especially in the sustainable energy sector and the digital industry.

The Polish-led Three Seas Initiative aims to boost infrastructure, energy and business ties among the 13 CEE countries situated between the Baltic, Black and Adriatic Seas: Poland, Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Greece, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Romania, Slovakia and Slovenia.

On Wednesday morning, Poland's president took part in a panel discussion entitled Defending Europe’s United Front, and urged the international community to "not waver in helping Ukraine" in its fight against the Russian invasion, according to officials.

Later in the day, Duda held talks with the Vice-President of the European Commission for Values and Transparency Vĕra Jourova, and was also scheduled to meet with Lithuanian President Gitanas Nausėda, Latvian President Edgars Rinkēvičs and Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenković, hold talks with United Nations Secretary General António Guterres, and take part in a debate on The Imperatives and Challenges of European Connectivity in Global Turbulent Times.

The Polish president is taking part in the 2024 World Economic Forum until Thursday; guests also include Poland's Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski.

The event runs until Friday.

Wednesday is day 693 of Russia’s war on Ukraine.

Russia invaded Ukraine on February 24, 2022, launching the largest military campaign in Europe since World War II.
