Published by The Experiment, an independent US publisher, the book explores the rich heritage of Polish cooking in 100 recipes.
According to the publisher’s website, Korkosz’s recipes "showcase fresh vegetables, grains, and herbs without overlooking the occasional need for cheesy potato hand pies and buttery cookies."

Korkosz graduated in international relations and sociology with a thesis focusing on culinary diplomacy and politically shaped patterns of eating.
He has developed a career as a food writer and recipe developer.
His previous book Fresh from Poland was named cookbook of the year by the San Francisco Chronicle and Booklist magazine. He lives in Warsaw and runs a food website called Rozkoszny (Delightful).
