The decision to terminate the licensing agreement with Marriott was announced suddenly on August 6, 2024, without prior notice. This caused considerable confusion among Warsaw residents and those who recognize the city's skyline by the famous red Marriott logo.

It turns out that the last 20 floors of the building, owned by LIM Center Sp. z o.o., will continue hotel operations under a new name (yet to be disclosed).

Completed in 1989 and renowned for its five-star standards, the building also houses offices, a gallery with shops and restaurants, and is connected to Warsaw Central Station via an underground passage.

LIM Center Sp. z o.o., which manages the hotel operations, will maintain high standards and continue to invest in improving the building's quality, as announced in an official statement.
