Poland is experiencing a significant increase in foreign visitors from the USA, the Czech Republic, and the Middle East, according to data from the Polish Tourist Organization (POT). However, it’s not only international tourists who are eager to visit Polish cities.

While 70% of Poles have indicated they plan to take a vacation, two-thirds of them opt to spend their holiday time within the country. Many people who live in other parts of the country also travel within Poland during the summer season.

According to Magdalena Krucz, short trips from Friday to early Sunday are becoming increasingly popular in Poland. These getaways are particularly favored by people in their twenties and middle-aged individuals.

Poles prefer to travel close to home, often choosing destinations within about 100 km where they can reach by car, train, or bus, and less frequently by camper van.

Some tourists enjoy discovering new places, but many still opt for well-known destinations that have long been popular with both domestic and international visitors, ranging from the Baltic coast to the mountains.

There is also growing interest in camping, staying in private accommodations, agritourism spots, and glamping experiences.
