As society ages, the preferences of older generations differ from those of younger ones. While teenagers favor the internet and smartphones, their grandparents are more comfortable with traditional television.

To cater specifically to this older demographic, Silver TV is launching. Starting in October, the interactive channel will be available in an updated format on cable and satellite networks, according to wirtualnemedia.pl.

The programming will feature 13 shows focused on topics such as health, lifestyle, physical activity, and interests relevant to retirees.

Beata Borucka, known online as Mądra Babcia ("Wise Grandma") and a prominent silver influencer in Poland, will be a key figure on the channel.

Future plans for Silver TV include developing a VOD app to optimize production costs and improve content quality, with an expanded team and a schedule of over 100 hours of programming per month.

For now, Silver TV can be watched through its YouTube channel, among other platforms.
