Launched by the government and the Polish Space Agency (POLSA), the contest, dubbed "Space Detectives," encourages young students to explore the applications of space technologies in everyday life.

“Conduct an investigation and find as many space technologies as you can that people use every day,” Polish researcher Sławosz Uznański says in a promotional video.

“Choose one of them and learn why it was created, how it was developed, when it was made, and during which space mission,” adds Uznański, who is scheduled to embark on a space mission later this year.

Submissions should be sent until the end of January, with the winners to be announced in March.
