The average gross monthly wage in the final quarter of 2024 was PLN 8,477.21 (EUR 2,030, USD 2,100), the Statistics Poland (GUS) agency said this week.
This amount marked a 3.9 percent increase over the third quarter of the year, according to the office.
The state-run statistics agency reported last month that average wages in Poland's corporate sector in December were 9.8 percent higher than in the same month a year earlier.
Meanwhile, inflation in Poland stood at 4.7 percent in year-on-year terms in December, unchanged from November, according to an estimate released by Statistics Poland in mid-January.
The country's minimum monthly wage increased to PLN 4,666 (EUR 1,120, USD 1,160) at the start of January, from PLN 4,300 in the second half of 2024.
More than 3.2 million Poles earn the minimum wage, according to government estimates.
