Meanwhile, average wages in Poland's corporate sector increased by 9.2 percent in January compared with the same month a year earlier, the state-run Statistics Poland (GUS) agency said.
The average gross Polish monthly wage last month was PLN 8,482.47 (EUR 2,030, USD 2,120), according to the statistical office.
The figures are for companies with more than nine employees.
The Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Policy estimated this month that Poland's unemployment rate rose to 5.4 percent in January, from 5.1 percent in December.
The average wage in Poland rose 9.5 percent last year compared with 2023, according to data released by Statistics Poland earlier this month.
The country's minimum monthly wage increased to PLN 4,666 (EUR 1,120, USD 1,160) at the start of January, from PLN 4,300 in the second half of 2024.
