BALANCE Lobbying for Polish SMEs

In June 2024 Agnieszka Majewska, a lawyer by profession, took up the post of Poland’s Ombudsperson for SMEs because she was convinced they are the backbone of Poland’s economy. They generate nearly 50%f the country's GDP and employ over 60% of workers, but they also face numerous challenges, from regulatory barriers to navigating public administration.
