The new factory is part of a broader military modernization effort driven by defense programs, reports the Polish daily.
The Dezamet plant will also expand to boost ammunition production, while delayed munition projects at Mesko Group are being expedited.
The facility will focus on producing vehicles for Poland's Narew and Wisła air defense programs, as well as the Homar rocket artillery system.
The expansion also involves Wojskowe Zakłady Metalowe Dezamet, which aims to become Poland's leader in ammunition production.
This includes facilities in Nowa Dęba (southeast Poland), Skarżysko-Kamienna (central Poland), and Pionki, about 70 kilometers further to the north.
