The 2025 strawberry season is proving exceptional, with fruit stands in Kudowa-Zdrój - a spa town in southwestern Poland just across the border from the Czech town of Náchod - selling out daily as customers snap up fresh, firm, and juicy berries.

Prices remain competitive, with vendors encouraging early shoppers and offering small refunds for returned baskets.

Demand is fueled by both quality and affordability, with buyers planning to enjoy the strawberries fresh or in homemade recipes.

This trend has made Kudowa-Zdrój a popular shopping destination for Czechs, who benefit from lower prices and close proximity to Polish markets.

Vendors anticipate strawberry sales to continue through June, followed by pickling cucumbers, promising more cross-border trade.
