Around 45,900 housing units were completed nationwide in the first three months of 2025, the state-run Statistics Poland (GUS) agency reported last week.
It also said that housing starts fell 7.3 percent year-on-year in the first quarter, to roughly 55,700 units.
In April, Statistics Poland had estimated a 4.6-percent year-on-year decline in first-quarter home completions. The revised figure underscores continued weakness in the sector.
The data come amid rising criticism that the government has failed to deliver on campaign promises to improve housing access for young Poles.
Builders completed around 200,400 new homes in Poland in 2024, a 9.4-percent decrease from the previous year, according to an estimate released earlier this year by Statistics Poland.
