State-owned Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa (PGZ) and private defense firm WB Group have seen steady year-on-year revenue increases.

PGZ reported nearly PLN 14 billion in revenue for 2024, with forecasts suggesting a jump to PLN 20 billion in 2025—a more than 40% rise, according to the company’s external relations office.

WB Group, Poland’s largest private defense firm, is also on track for significant growth. Its revenue rose from about PLN 340 million in 2021 to 3 billion last year and is expected to grow further by several dozen percent.

The continued expansion of Poland’s defense sector is expected to be fueled in part by contracts financed through the European Union’s SAFE loan instrument. Poland is set to borrow nearly PLN 200 billion under the program.
