WEF President Børge Brende described the forum as one of the most critical in years, calling dialogue "an urgent necessity in times of uncertainty." The summit brings together nearly 3,000 leaders from over 130 countries, including 65 heads of state and government and some 850 top CEOs.

U.S. President Donald Trump, who is expected to deliver a keynote address Wednesday at 2:30 p.m., will attend alongside Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick, Energy Secretary Chris Wright, and Middle East envoy Steve Witkoff. Trump’s participation is drawing renewed attention following his recent military intervention in Venezuela and sharp rhetoric toward Iran and Europe.

Also attending are French President Emmanuel Macron, Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, and Chinese Vice Premier He Lifeng. Top global institutions will be represented by NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte, UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, IMF head Kristalina Georgieva, and WTO and WHO chiefs.

According to Reuters, a Trump–Zelensky meeting may take place in Davos, with the potential signing of an USD 800 billion “prosperity package” for Ukraine's reconstruction.

Polish President Karol Nawrocki will attend the forum from Tuesday to Thursday. His schedule includes meetings with Dutch Prime Minister Dick Schoof, Israeli President Isaac Herzog, World Bank President Ajay Banga, and a session with President Trump. Nawrocki is also expected to speak on the Three Seas Initiative.

Poland’s Finance and Economy Minister Andrzej Domański is also scheduled to join the summit on Wednesday.

Over 200 sessions will be held through Friday, with many streamed via WEF’s official social media channels.
