The figure was in line with a flash estimate released by the state-run Statistics Poland (GUS) agency at the end of last month.

In February, the prices of consumer goods and services in the country were 2.1 percent higher than in the same month a year earlier, according to Statistics Poland.

In January, Poland's consumer price index also stood at 2.1 percent, data showed.

The Polish central banpredicted in its latest Inflation Report, released on March 6, that inflation would average 2.3 percent in 2026, followed by 2.4 percent in 2027 and 2.3 percent in 2028.
