Foreign workers make up 6.9% of Poland's labour force, data show

Around 1,138,000 foreign workers were employed in Poland at the end of November last year, accounting for 6.9 percent of the total workforce, according to the national statistics office.

That number was 6.4 percent higher than in November 2024 but marked a decrease of 0.1 percent from the previous month, the Statistics Poland (GUS) agency reported.

In November 2025, 1.1 million foreigners performing work in Poland, i.e. 6.4% more than in the previous year.

6.9% of all people working in Poland were citizens of other countries, coming from over 150 countries around the world.

These foreign workers hailed from more than 150 countries, with 67.6 percent coming from Ukraine, Statistics Poland said.

Belarusians accounted for 10.5 percent of the foreign workforce, followed by Georgians at 2.1 percent, and Indians at 2 percent.

Colombians represented 1.7 percent of the total labour force, while Filipinos made up 1.3 percent.
