The latest figure was in line with a consensus forecast by economists polled by state news agency PAP.

In quarter-on-quarter terms, Poland's gross domestic product grew 0.9 percent in the second quarter of 2026, after expanding 0.6 percent in the first three months of the year, the Statistics Poland agency said.

Finance and Economy Minister Andrzej Domański, in a social media post, hailed Poland's economic growth as "increasingly faster."

The Polish statistics office is expected to report full second-quarter data on August 31.
