The figure was 0.4 percentage points higher than forecast by economists polled by state news agency PAP.
Poland's gross domestic product expanded by 5.8 percent in the second quarter of this year, after growing 8.6 percent in the first quarter, according to the state-run Statistics Poland (GUS) agency.
Poland’s central bank on Monday updated its GDP growth forecasts for the country, saying it now expects the economy to expand 4.6 percent this year, followed by 0.7 percent growth in 2023.
A Polish deputy finance minister this month predicted that 2023 "will be a difficult year" for the country’s public finances, but added that “there are grounds for cautious optimism.”
The Polish statistics office is expected to report full third-quarter data on November 30.
