While in Riyadh, Mateusz Morawiecki is scheduled to sit down for talks with his Saudi Arabian counterpart, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, according to the Polish government spokesman, Piotr Müller.
"Saudi Arabia is an important partner for Poland in the field of energy," Müller told reporters.
He added that the talks would focus on oil supplies and "potential investment in renewables and new technology."
Poland is also interested in exporting more food to Saudi Arabia, according to officials.
The Saudi Arabian Oil Company, also known as Saudi Aramco, is set to take a 30-percent stake in Poland’s Gdańsk refinery, under a deal with Poland’s state-owned energy company PKN Orlen, public broadcaster Polish Radio’s IAR news agency reported.
