Meanwhile, the minimum hourly rate would go up to PLN 27.70 (EUR 6.20, USD 6.70) effective January 1 and PLN 28.10 (EUR 6.30, USD 6.80) as of July 1, 2024, officials said.
The proposed figures are still subject to consultation with the government’s social partners as part of the Council for Social Dialogue, state news agency PAP reported.

The country’s minimum monthly wage rose to PLN 3,490 at the start of this year, from PLN 3,010 at the end of 2022.
Meanwhile, the minimum hourly rate in Poland is currently set at PLN 22.80, up from PLN 19.60 at the end of last year.
The average gross Polish monthly wage in April was PLN 7,430.65, the state-run statistics office (GUS) announced last month.
