The protest persisted in Poland's eastern Lubelskie and Podkarpackie regions.

In the Lubelskie region, the queue at the Dorohusk border crossing extended for 21 kilometers to the town of Janów, with 850 trucks facing a clearance time of 212 hours, public broadcaster Polish Radio’s IAR news agency reported.

Ewa Czyż, a spokeswoman for local police, confirmed reports of a brief blockade by drivers of a pedestrian crossing in the city of Chełm.

Meanwhile, a 48-kilometer-long queue of 640 trucks formed at the Hrebenne crossing, authorities said.

The protesters, demanding changes to transport company registration rules, allowed the passage of four vehicles per hour and uninterrupted movement of fresh food, humanitarian aid, and military supplies.
