Eurostat announced the figures on Friday.
Poland's GDP grew by 0.6% in the third quarter of 2023, compared with the 3rd quarter of 2022, giving the country 12th place in the EU league table, officials in Brussels said.
Meanwhile, Poland's GDP rose by 1.5% between July and September 2023, compared with the April-June period.
This puts Poland second in the EU, behind Malta (2.4%) and ahead of Cyprus (1.1%), Eurostat said.
At the other end were Ireland, Estonia and Finland, where GDP decreased in the 3rd quarter of 2023, by 1.9%, 1.3% and 0.9%, respectively.
The state-run Statistics Poland (GUS) agency said in preliminary estimate on November 30 that the country's GDP had increased by 0.5% year-on-year in the third quarter of 2023.
Poland's gross domestic product shrank 0.6 percent in the second quarter of this year, after contracting 0.3 percent in the first quarter, according to Statistics Poland.
In 2022 as a whole, Poland's gross domestic product expanded by 5.3 percent, according to a revised estimate released by Statistics Poland in October.
Poland's government said in the 2024 budget it expected the economy to grow by 3% this year, Polish Radio's IAR news agency reported.
