The economy, migration and international conflicts were reported as the top concerns for voters in the European Union election, with Reuters agency noting that improving the economy and reducing inflation ranked highest among citizens asked what was the most important thing influencing their vote.

To find out more, Radio Poland's Danuta Isler went to the election night by the Warsaw Enterprise Institute, organized as the exit poll results were announced.

"It definitely strengthened Donald Tusk's position, however, it will be very interesting because he will also have to take all the responsibility for a very difficult period. We are coming into the energy hike, we still have problems with rising inflation, we'll have a problem with employment quite soon because of large foreign companies moving out of Poland to other countries. This will be for him on one hand a big win, but on the other hand more responsibility," Tomasz Wróblewski of the Warsaw Enterprise Institute told Radio Poland.
