Poland is categorized as a transitioning country with a clear commitment to electrification, according to the 2024 Mobility Guide Report by Ayvens, a global mobility services company.

In the previous report, Poland was classified in the third category (Emerging), where challenges related to charging infrastructure, affordability, and availability were still significant.

Over the past year, the number of registered electric vehicles in Poland has significantly increased, allowing the country to advance to the second category (Transitioning).

In Poland, substantial investments have been made in electric vehicle infrastructure, including the setup of over 2,500 new charging stations, with 282 designated for fast and ultra-fast charging.

The country now provides 132 models of low-emission vehicles, and the total cost of owning an electric vehicle is increasingly comparable to the costs associated with traditional combustion-engine cars.
