Dziemianowicz-Bąk at the Forum in Karpacz: Polish labor law needs reform

During the conference at the 33rd Economic Forum in Karpacz, the head of Poland's Ministry of Family, Labor, and Social Policy discussed proposed changes to labor law, focusing on the activation of older people, young parents, and those with disabilities.

The Minister emphasized the importance of creating favorable conditions for these groups to remain active in the workforce longer.

The ministry is also examining the possibility of shortening the workweek and revising regulations related to migrants.

Dziemianowicz-Bąk also announced that the Social Insurance Institution (ZUS) will start paying sickness benefits from the first day of illness.
