As of October 1, Hungarian customers can access the platform via allegro.hu, joining users in Poland, the Czech Republic, and Slovakia.

In recent months, Allegro has expanded its marketplace to the Czech and Slovak markets, adding nearly 16 million potential customers. The latest step in Allegro’s international growth strategy comes with the launch of its Hungarian domain. Hungarian shoppers now have access to over 150 million product listings, along with key features like Allegro Protect buyer protection, Lowest Price Guarantee, unlimited deliveries, and free returns via the Allegro Smart! package.

"Our entry into Hungary brings us closer to fulfilling Allegro's vision of becoming the preferred shopping destination in Europe. In just a few months, we’ve gained over 2.5 million active buyers in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Now, we’re looking forward to introducing ourselves to Hungarian consumers and ensuring they have a positive shopping experience," said Matthias Frechen, Chief Commercial Officer at Allegro.

The move also benefits Polish sellers, who now have access to an additional 10 million potential customers. Polish businesses can sell to Hungary, the Czech Republic, and Slovakia directly from their existing Allegro accounts, with Allegro handling logistics, including translating listings and converting prices for local markets.
