Olga Tokarczuk has been a shareholder in Sundog for two years. As reported by Puls Biznesu, the company recently received a grant of 16.9 million PLN (approximately 3.9 million EUR) from the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development (PARP) to develop technology for creating video games with psychologically consistent characters, with support from a company that includes footballer Robert Lewandowski as a shareholder.

Tokarczuk's works are increasingly featured in video games, particularly in Sundog's projects. As a co-founder of the company, established in 2022, she plays a vital role in the gaming industry.

Sundog, made up of experts with extensive gaming experience, is currently developing the game "Ibru," inspired by Tokarczuk's book "Anna In in the Tombs of the World."

The founders aimed to create a game with a compelling storyline and sought Tokarczuk's involvement to incorporate her literary artistry.

The PARP funding, awarded through the SMART Path application process, ranked Sundog's project 18th in evaluations.

This grant will help create the InteGra system, which facilitates the development of psychologically coherent characters through research in literary studies, psychology, and artificial intelligence, enhancing the realism and engagement of the games.
