New pendolino train route to launch from Szczecin, Poland

High-speed trains will soon connect Szczecin, located in the northwestern part of Poland, with the capital city. The line will pass through Poznań situated approximately halfway between Warsaw and Berlin, Germany.

A new Pendolino train connection will be established on a domestic route in Poland.

Polish State Railways (PKP) announced the launch of a new Pendolino route starting in mid-December.

The new connection was confirmed by Deputy Minister of Infrastructure Arkadiusz Marchewka.

The politician assures that the journey between Szczecin and Warsaw will be record-fast, taking just 4 hours and 17 minutes, significantly shorter than the previous travel time on this route.

Along with the Pendolino service, an additional express intercity connection will also be introduced on this line, according to Arkadiusz Marchewka's statement on social media.
