The reading was in line with a flash estimate released by the Statistics Poland (GUS) office earlier this month.

Investment increased by 1.3 percent, while private consumption expanded by 3.5 percent in Poland in the fourth quarter of 2024, Statistics Poland reported.

Domestic demand rose by 4.8 percent, it said.

Poland's gross domestic product grew 2.7 percent in the third quarter of 2024, after expanding by 3.2 percent in the second quarter and 2.1 percent in the first quarter, according to Statistics Poland.

In 2024 as a whole, the Polish economy grew 2.9 percent, after expanding by 0.1 percent in 2023, according to a preliminary estimate released by Statistics Poland at the end of last month.

Poland's president last month signed the country's budget for 2025, which expects the economy to grow 3.9 percent this year.
