Public health authorities said that 16,128 adverse reactions had been reported among those who received the vaccines by Thursday morning.
Meanwhile, a total of 594,507 doses have been wasted in the rollout, according to the Polish health ministry.
As of Thursday, Poland had injected more than 20.5 million first doses of COVID-19 vaccines, while almost 20.2 million people had been fully inoculated, health ministry data showed.
The tally includes two-dose vaccines from Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna and AstraZeneca as well as Johnson & Johnson's one-shot vaccine.
Poland on Thursday reported 24,882 new coronavirus infections and 370 more deaths related to COVID-19, bringing the country's total number of cases during the pandemic to 3,279,787 and fatalities to 79,994.
At the start of this month, third doses of the COVID-19 vaccine were made available to all adults in the country.
The booster shot is administered at least six months after full vaccination, using Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna mRNA vaccines, under rules announced by public health authorities.
Poland's government last month recommended a booster dose of the COVID-19 vaccine for healthcare workers and people over 50.
In late August, people with compromised immune systems were advised to receive a third dose of the vaccine.
By Thursday, a total of 1,466,174 booster shots had been administered, while 304,814 people with immunity problems had received a third vaccine dose, government data showed.
