High school students completing the Polish (language and literature) exam have shared some of the questions (after the exam, not in violation of exam confidentiality!)
For the basic level, the topics for the discussion question (students had to choose) were:
- A human - a being full of contradictions, and
- What causes one person to become a hero in the eyes of another?
Another question, similarly metaphysical, was "How do unexpected circumstances impact human behaviour?" This was with reference to the epic poem Pan Tadeusz ("Sir Thaddeus") by the Polish romantic poet Adam Mickiewicz.
