The expedition commenced on July 15 at 7:30 a.m. and took Krzysztof Drabik and his team five grueling days to ascend from the gates of Kilimanjaro National Park to the summit.

After reaching the peak, towering at an altitude of 5,895 meters above sea level, Drabik expressed both exhaustion and elation.  “I'm monstrously tired, but incredibly happy that everyone is already safe at the bottom. It was the hardest night of my life,” he added.

The primary objective of this ambitious expedition was to raise funds for the Help Furaha Foundation to establish a rehabilitation center for children with disabilities in Kenya. Drabik said that "if we can raise PLN 589,500 (USD 149,000), which is exactly the height of Kilimanjaro, we will start building the center later this year."

Drabik has been collaborating with the Help Furaha Foundation for the past four years. The foundation currently operates a day care center in the Kenyan capital of Meru, catering to children with cerebral palsy, autism, and Down syndrome.
