The state-run Institute of Meteorology and Water Management (IMGW) said in a statement that fierce storms are expected in the Małopolskie, Podkarpackie, Lubelskie and part of Silesian voivodships.
The experts also warned against strong wind of up to 70 kilometres per hour in some areas of the country.
Poland’s Government Security Centre (RCB) issued warnings for the public via text messages.
