This view was shared by 43.7% of respondents who said "definitely yes" and an additional 31.3% who agreed with "rather yes."

Conversely, 18.7% of those surveyed held an opposing view, with 6.7% strongly against the idea. Interestingly, more than 6% of respondents did not have an opinion on the matter.

The poll also highlighted the political divide in opinions regarding this issue. A vast majority of supporters of Poland's ruling coalition, around 95%, backed the idea of church funding by the faithful. In contrast, voters of the main opposition party, Law and Justice, showed divided opinions, with 49% supporting the idea and 38% against it.

This survey was conducted on a sample of 1,069 adult Poles between December 5-8 of the previous year.
