The awards and diplomas for the ranking laureates were presented at a final gala at the Leon Koźmiński Academy in Warsaw on Thursday.

Chaired by Professor Ryszard Koziołek of the University of Silesia, the ranking committee assessed schools based on their success in subject Olympiads, the results of compulsory and additional subject matriculation exams, and, for technical schools, professional exam results. Bilingual matriculation exam results were also considered for schools offering bilingual education, though international matriculation results were not included.

Stanisław Staszic High School, known for its strength in mathematics, physics, and computer science, maintains a long-standing collaboration with the Warsaw University of Technology and the University of Warsaw's Mathematics Institute. The school's students regularly participate in lectures and lab sessions at these universities and have achieved notable success in science Olympiads.

August Witkowski High School in the southern city of Kraków secured the second spot, followed by the 13th High School from the northwestern city of Szczecin.

Meanwhile, the best technical school title was awarded to John Paul II High-Tech School (TNT) in Kleszczów, central Poland, which has consistently ranked among Poland's top ten technical schools since 2014. This school specializes in mechatronics and automation technologies and benefits from strong partnerships with the Łódź University of Technology and modern mechatronic companies.

Warsaw's 1st Mechatronics Technical School came second in this league table, and the Electronics Technical School from the eastern city of Lublin followed in third.

The Perspektywy ranking focused on schools where at least 12 youths sat for the first-time standard or non-standard matriculation exams in May 2023. These schools were required to have average results in Polish language and mathematics not lower than 0.75 times the national average for their respective types of institutions.

The ranking committee prepared sub-rankings focusing on matriculation results and Olympiad achievements. Stanisław Staszic High School also led these sub-rankings, demonstrating its comprehensive academic excellence.
